Parent and Child Stool Making Workshop
During this one-day workshop, you and your child will work together to make a rustic stool that can be used as a piece of furniture in your home. The new skills learnt during the workshop will empower your child and give them confidence, by allowing them the opportunity to use woodworking tools to create craft pieces that are often out of their reach.
This workshop is best suited to children aged between 11 and 16, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is prepared to get stuck in and work along with their child to create a family heirloom.
During the day you and your child will both be using sharp hand tools and some of the work can be a bit physical, so please make sure your child is keen for the challenge.
No experience is necessary. Due to the use of sharp tools during the class, sturdy boots or shoes should be worn.
