Since 2014/2015, Carntogher Community Association has successfully secured funding from Arts Council of NI & Mid Ulster District Council to deliver a range of bi-lingual Art activities and events as part of a specific Arts project to help establish and develop the Arts within the Carntogher area.
The project is now reaching a wider audience and past projects have provided a vast amount of opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to experience the Arts in many forms and also provided many Artists/Performers with a unique surrounding in which to express their artistic skills. Now firmly established as a Strategic Arts and Cultural Development partner by Mid Ulster District Council, Carntogher Community Association is recognised as a leading Arts provider within the council area.
We are the sole Arts and Cultural provider in the Mid Ulster Council area to have a completely bilingual Arts project, focussing on the importance of all forms of Arts and cultural activities.

Carntogher Community Association aims to deliver a high-quality programme of events to audiences at a low and affordable cost. However, as a result of rising costs we have had to make the decision that in order to remain viable as an independent charitable organisation, from 2025 we will introduce a £2 booking fee on our events. This standard fee will not apply to workshops or film screenings.
The booking fee will apply to event tickets booked online. On event listings we display the face value of the ticket. A booking fee is added per ticket and when you add any tickets to your basket. It is displayed and added at the final checkout page once you have selected all the tickets you require.
The booking fee is applied by Carntogher Community Association in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. This includes overheads such as debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, administration, website development, secure server costs, profit and a few teabags for staff!
We hope that you understand our rationale for this applying this small fee and continue to support what we do at An Carn.
