Irish Classes for Adults – 2023
There will be a class for every level and there will be six levels (depending on demand). The course is specially designed to bring learners step by step from scratch to fluency, and it will be delivered by our team of qualified experienced teachers.
So, if you are a complete beginner, an improver, or a fluent speaker who wants to practice, register by Wednesday 18th January. Information will be sent to you about your class. Come directly to your class on Monday 23rd January from 7.15pm. You will be very welcome.
The second term will last 10 weeks

Level 0 – tbc
Level 1a – Sharon Uí Chatháin
Level 1b – Amy Ní Dhocahrtaigh
Level 2 – Clár Ní Chnaimhsí
Level 3 – Siobhán Ní Dhoibhlin
Level 4 – Órfhlaith Ní Chearnaigh
Level 5 & 6 – Séamus Mac Conmidhe
Time: 7.30 – 9pm (no tea break)
Cost: £25 (Concessionary rate: £20*)
It is essential to book your place by Wednesday 18th January – Registration on the first night will NOT be permitted.
The course follows the text book Gaeilge Gan Stró. A copy of the book will be required to complete the course. It is available to purchase from www.siopaancarn.com
Please note – that the classes will take place in An Carn, but if there are changes in Government advice regarding Covid, classes may be moved online and delivered through zoom.
* People who are entitled to the reduced rate are people over 65 years of age, students over 16 years of age in full time education and parents whose children are attending a Naíscoil, bunscoil /Gaelscoil or Gaelcholáiste Dhoire.
