Introduction to Woodworking: Small Table
(in English) with David Keys
Make your own Mug table using traditional woodworking methods. These small three-legged tables are perfect for a cuppa and a biscuit.
Working on a shavehorse, you’ll learn how to carve the round tenons for the legs with a drawknife, spokeshave, and rounding plane. Then you’ll use a brace and bit to drill the holes in the table top. The last step is to mark the legs level, and trim the ends with a Japanese saw.
