Beginner’s Sewing Workshop – 6 Week Course
(in English) with Rachael Armstrong – Little Perch Designs
Over the course of 6 weeks you will learn how to operate your sewing machine with confidence. You will know how to select different kinds of stitches and why they are used and use different presser foot attachments too.
You will complete the following projects:
- Personalised drawstring bag/pin cushion
- A large zipped pouch bag (big enough for a laptop or iPad)
- A pretty appliqué cushion cover
- A lined patchwork tote bag
In completing these projects you will be establishing, reinforcing and building on essential basic machine sewing skills, as well as cutting and measuring. By the end of the 6 weeks you will be an independent sewer, ready to choose your own projects!
* Please note that these are new projects for this course, so those wishing to brush up on their sewing skills will also find them helpful. *

Time: 7-9pm
Cost: £45 (participants to bring their own sewing machine, please let us know if you need one provided – fabric and ribbon will be provided for the first project)
